I have been working at Baker Hughes full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Big company with good salaries if you get a good deal on first time, many places to work in USA or overseas.

Cons

To get promoted you need to have a person that help you, If you are not good friend of your boss you will not be promoted and the increase of you salary will be very small.

Advice to Management

Try to promote to managment positions to people with the skills to be real managers.

I worked at Baker Hughes part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This company really cares about its employees. I was subcontracted so I didn't technically work for Baker but I did everything that a Baker Hughes employee did in the yard. If you show them you want to work then the sky is the limit. If you just sit there and wait to get told what to do then what are you expecting to get out of that? I can't say the same about other Baker Hughes considering I have only worked at one but the guys are really like family now to me and I hope to be a future employee.

    Cons

The only con I can really think of is having a company vehicle. They will fire you on the spot if you are in a wreck and it's your fault. There are a lot of flaws with this method however due to unexpected things such as someone running into the street and you crashing into someone to save someone else, etc. . I suggest they get a dash cam on the front and back of every vehicle.

    Advice to Management

Get dash cams on the vehicles!
