I have been working at Baldor Electric (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Able to take care of family issues and work from home on occasion because I have a company laptop and phone.

    Cons

No authority but all the responsibility of maintaining a plant infrastructure. Upper mgt sees IT as a liability not a business benefit

    Advice to Management

Put people in upper management that has degree other than engineering. Different perspective is good.
