I have been working at Banana Republic part-time

    Pros

    -Great discount
-Impeccable dress code, no rooms for tasteless and/or ghetto clothes
    -Amicable managers

    Cons

-I'm new but already the orientation process is off to a shaky start. I've been there two weeks and haven't finished training no thanks in part to the managers.
-Interview process was WAY WAY WAY TOO EASY
-They hire WAY too many of us seasonal employees when they already have enough regular non-seasonal part time/full time employees
-Too pushy w/ banana card and banana visa card
    -Incredibly low hours

    Advice to Management

Don't allow managers to hire so many seasonal employees because that'll take hours away from other employees

    Pros

I just got hired so I don't have many bad things to say, although I will note that as a seasonal hire they haven't really made me feel like the job is totally stable seeing as we don't even know when we'll finish our training. Also, they hired WAY too many of us.

    Cons

I heard that you barely get hours if you're part time/seasonal. Also, seeing as they're probably going to be hiring more seasonal I'm unsure if I'll even get any hours. I'm worried about this job because it seems like I have to memorize a ton and might get no hours. Also, the interview was way too easy and it seemed like anyone could've gotten the job. The mgr didn't even look at my resume at all and had no clue about anything about me. That's not good managerial skills.

    Advice to Management

Make sure your managers know about a prospective employee before interviewing them, also cap the number of seasonal associates to about 10. Having 20-30 seasonals plus regular part timer and full timers is TOO much and makes for less hours for everyone.
