Advice to Management

Keep being open to new ideas.
Continue to be structured in your methodologies.
Continue to focus on VoC
Continue and improve to be result oriented and flexible.
Use discretion more often
Need to be more engaged with members of staff.
Learn to identify and retain talent.
Promotion should be based on merit not tenure at work.
Encourage associates to progress as too many people are comfotable doing the same role year after year and management do not push them forward. It is bad example for junior analysts and reflects badly on the department.
Find some funds to sponsor education.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great PTO if you are a band 6 or above (10 holidays and 4 weeks vacation). Good 401(k) matching program.

    Cons

Too much bureacracy. No recognition for work. Very inefficient processes. Takes a long time to change anything. Poor management. Only middle-aged white males get preferential treatment and move up in the company more easily than anyone else. Very old-school culture - bad employee morale.

    Advice to Management

Recognize employees for their performance. Be sincerely interested in the career paths of employees (especially young and developing talent).
