I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Good benefits, competitive salary. If you are willing to work hard, that will be reflected in your salary and bonus.

Cons

Very political. Company does a poor job of promoting from within. Since the merger with ML, the culture has changed quite a bit. There is still a big division between the two legacy organizations.

Advice to Management

The morale of employees would improve if you stopped bringing in outside people to fil management roles, and began to develop the talent within the organization.

I have been working at Bank of America as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great networking possibilities. Looks great on the resume to employers and can provide a good background to Wealth Management daily activities

    Cons

It really depends on who you work for and that will judge the extent of the work you are assigned and how much of it. Are very careful with compliance and must be careful about contacting others who might be higher up on the food chain

    Advice to Management

Pay your interns or offer a more extablished training for the system
