I worked at Bank of America part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Company has many different positions with flexible hours.

    Cons

-This company will do cosmetic changes (new floors, break rooms, etc.) but wont upgrade simple equipment needed for work efficiency like scanners, computer screens, etc.

-Only company I've ever worked for that will set 10 hour shifts for employees and give 30 minute lunch breaks which half of that time is used getting up and down the elevator.

-Also lower level management in certain operations departments will do unethical things like give employees answers to required testing like business policy/ethics/HIPPA

-Lower management/Team Leaders also do not distribute daily work fairly which will have certain "hand picked" employees with good work stats and the rest fighting daily to meet requirements which makes for a very stressful work environment with high turnovers

    Advice to Management

Take a look at lower management and team leader positions very closely and put in policy's to eliminate the "buddy system" when distributing work. Also spend more money on equipment that will make daily work more efficient /scanners/check readers/copy machines/cutters/etc if a machine is having a problem weekly or monthly consider swapping the whole thing with the supplier. Make employees work life less stressful and the high turnover in operations may go down a bit. Take a look at why you have to use the temp services so much to fill job roles.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

it is a job . IT IS just a paycheck to paycheck place

    Cons

If you dont know any one in upper management and kiss there pockets , or sleep with them you will never get promoted .
If you are GREAT at what you do they will try to get rid of you since you making everybody look bad .

    Advice to Management

go to your banking centers and see the low level manager how they treat the employees .
