    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits including matching 401k, adoption reimbursement, education reimbursement, ethical lending culture, an interest in seeing employees succeed and realize their potential.

    Cons

High turnover which results in work being constantly re-assigned to whatever employees remain on board. This results in poor customer service and the feeling that you are not working for a world class company. Mandatory overtime.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to hire and retain capable employees. Stop focusing on the trend of the week or the "tall bar" of the week and focus on common sense loan processing and underwriting. Stop trying to automate a loan shop into an assembly line of 1200 individual steps to be tracked by daily reports and just hire talented people who can use their brains to get the job done. The process has become more about making the 1200 metrics on a report appear "green" rather than on dispositioning loans. Reports do not tell the entire story.
