Learn a lot about the mortgage modification process

Cons

I could complain but there is really no cons to this job except if this is your first mortgage position you will need to make sure that you must be confident when speaking to customers.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the smartest and most effective people I have ever worked with, and some of the most supportive, honest, straightforward, focused and skilled executives I've ever worked for/with. If you can get into the right group, the work can be enjoying and rewarding.

    Cons

Avoid mortgage servicing - currently re-org about every 3 months. New management will populate their with prior co-workers from past orgs and ditch or demote current team.
Otherwise, lots of bureaucracy for overly matrixed and siloed organisation. Sometimes it takes a lot of extra effort just to get the right result. Also some of the worst executives I have ever worked with.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Since the company is so big, things move slowly. It's nice to be able to leave for a week and come back to a team that is still in once piece. There are plenty of benefits like working from home and a nice work/life balance.

    Cons

Things move slowly like raises, promotions, and project implementations. There are constant re-orgs and lately an overzealous focus on risk.

    Advice to Management

Just because that's how it's always been done, doesn't mean that's how we have to do it going forward.
