I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent place to get a start with a financial institution. (There's so much turnover, they're always looking for people.)

    Cons

Everyone is out for themselves. You really cannot put the customer first if your job depends on shoving every possible product at them.

    Advice to Management

Too many layers of Management. Too many floors in Charlotte are filled with folks supervising Banking Centers, that have never spent a single day in front of a Bank Customer.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

the technology is great to understand the financial markets. ml/boa will sponsor your series7/66. you can enter the FA program if you do well and can convince mgt that you are capable of bringing in business.

    Cons

not a whole lot. you must choose to work with FA's who will help you understand the business and explain the business to you. if you don't pick their brains the job isn't worth doing.

    Advice to Management

registered client associates aren't explained how to deal with the different personalities of the FA's they work for. more one on one training is needed to optimize ca performance.
