I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

a Nationwide presences, all different types of jobs all of the world. A lot of variety, and can specialize in key areas of finance where skills are transferable to other inudstries

    Cons

A lot of unnecessary and reactionary change. Accompanied by a passive system of orgnaizational management and human resource development

    Advice to Management

Empower Human Resource Development to drive programs of learning and develolpment that move empolyees vertically and laterally through the organization in support of the best people for the best roles. While recognizing a great employee may be in a bad role fit.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working from home has its benefits. Lots of flexibility in work schedule and ability to drive projects without constant micromanaging from higher-ups. The people I work with are incredibly smart and talented - it's a great company to develop your professional skill set and technical skills. There are a lot of resources to develop your understanding of the company and the industry as a whole.

    Cons

Working from home also has its downfalls. It can be very isolating to only have work interactions through technology. There have also been significant employee lay-offs over the past few years - doesn't help with feeling of overall job security. I'm also doubtful that I will be able to move forward in my career path as quickly as I had been planning.
