I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You learn a great deal if you are willing to ask questions, dig deeper into solving problems, volunteer for the tough challenges, and collaborate internally.

    Cons

Salary - It is kind of an internal joke that to make money here (in line with the market and experience) you have to either leave the bank and come back later or be a contractor.

Get rid of poorly performing employees quickly - The bank tends to be slow to rid itself of terrible employees which leads to the top performers picking up the slack spreading resentment and negativity throughout both the immediate team and larger organization.

    Advice to Management

Pay to keep top talent, refine annual performance reviews to reflect true individual performance and get rid of the "dead weight" employees.
