I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

The campus is beautiful and there is a variety of positions available.

Cons

I felt in my last position that I was not given enough supervision in regards to the Series 66 licensing requirement and procedure. I was not aware that I would not have the opportunity to retake the 66 in the event of a fail. I am 7,63 and life, health & annuity licensed. I am now being told I can not post for any positions requiring the 66 for 1 year. I was very close to passing and would have liked the opportunity to take the test the 2nd time as others had.

Advice to Management

Communicate with your employees.

    Pros

Your teammates are the ones who understand what your going through.

    Cons

When they want to downsize or cut pay,They will replace you even if you are a top performer. They can care less because there is always someone else there eager to get a job

    Advice to Management

Stop bending over and supporting the execs who make decisions that negatively impact all the employees (minions) that do most of the work. Speak up and back up your employees instead of just taking it

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are a lot of really good people as co-workers as the company is so big

    Cons

The pay structure and advancement opportunities are by far the worst I've ever experienced.

    Advice to Management

If I felt like anything I had to suggest would make any improvements in any aspect of the robotic personality's of upper management - I would. But since management traded compassion for the all mighty dollar. . . not going to waist my breath.
