I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great benefits is a start! I have worked in many locations with ease as to transfers! If you move around a lot or know that you are going to move the company really supports the transfers and ensures a smooth transition. That is a bonus to working for such a large company, no matter where life takes you there will surely be an opportunity for you there!

Cons

You must be a very flexible person and be able to easily adapt to the circumstance and environment. There is a lot of change that happens on a constant bases within the company and because it is so large every place you go wont be exactly the same.

Advice to Management

Enforce more consistency within the company to make the customers and employees experience more delightful.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

a fairly decent benefit program is the only only reason to affiliate w/ this company

    Cons

too numerous to list, but if you enjoy processing all sorts of follow-up during you supposed lunch break, having one break per day, being monitored electronically every second of your day, going in early and staying late - on a daily basis - to take care of work that is not on your schedule, then , by all means, keep applying

I worked at Bank of America as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

You can how to deal with people that don't want to talk to you. Push through and finish the sale even if it's uncomfortable

    Cons

Internship is unpaid. However you do get to brag about the Merrill Lynch association. I would say do this for the resume building and networking. If you're a good performer, there's prospects of going on board as a FA.

    Advice to Management

Pay interns if you're profiting from leads created by interns. Give them something. Gas money, lunch money.
