    I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    * Good resources
    * Investment in technology and change on a broad scale
    * Good mix of skill sets and good people
    * Most associates and leadership really trying to do what is rights for customers / clients

    Cons

    * Some difficult operating environments due to lack of historical investment in systems / integration (that is where much of the opportunity comes from though.
    * Charlotte / NY focused - hard to be successful if located outside of Charlotte or NY
    * Growth strictly driven by politics / networking without consideration of performance (vs. most places where both are important). So poor talent can rise - eventually causes problems.

    Advice to Management

    Be more attuned to and actually show concern for who is actually leading the work vs. just going to standby's. Invest in people as well as technology.
