I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

The Bank was very thrifty and cost conscious.

Cons

The thrifty, cost conscious resulted in fewer promotions, smaller salary increases year over year, and regular layoffs.

Advice to Management

Try to move associates around within the firm instead of handing out pink slips and deleting departments or subsidiaries.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Bank of America is the worst bank to work because they miss represent themselves. For example they will hire you for a temporary assignment, but tell you it is permanent position.

    Cons

Bank of America positions are call center sales position managed by nightmare managers

    Advice to Management

Close the bank and start over.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good employee portals with a wealth of information.

    Cons

Not enough time to study new material; ever changing; indecisive management; deceptive.

    Advice to Management

Hire individuals who are professional and stop going with the good old boy system of allowing others to hire their friends. I would recommend a business attire environment at all times, and hire those who have the education and leadership to lead with integrity.
