I worked at Bank of America part-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Excellent training opportunities, got sent to St. Louis to train with people and a great model for coaching and development in your new role. Promotion was always available

Cons

The culture was changing from being customer to more sales oriented and it put strain on the model they were attempting to build which hurt associate morale

Advice to Management

Training was excellent in St. Louis. I really felt prepared for the job that I was doing and I felt motivated to come back to the branch and work. My branch manager was awesome in coaching and also leading by setting the example of hard work to follow her

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They take care of their employees with great perks and employee benefits. They recognized their hard working employees by awarding them with bonuses and/or bonus points for their online store.

    Cons

A lot of gossip from coworkers and others in leadership positions (speaking of a call center environment). It took me back to they High School scene for its immaturity.

  2. "Remote office is a huge perk"

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

BofA's MyWork program allows for certain employees to telecommute. They will pay a set amount for a desk/printer for your home office. This was a huge benefit to me while I was there and saved me more 3 hours of round-trip commuting.

    Cons

It's a large company, and it takes some skill to navigate it.

    Advice to Management

Keep the MyWork program - it's a huge selling point to job candidates and those who live in the suburbs of busy cities with a long commute.
