I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

I worked 4 years in call center customer service in a variety of positions. They pay you more than the position is really worth. The job is not very hard... but dealing with some of the awful customers can be very stressful.

Cons

There is a lot of red tape. It is very hard to try and accomplish something very simple if it is not already clearly outlined in the existing policies and procedures.

Advice to Management

Give more authority to your team managers. They all seem terrified of stepping even slightly over the imaginary lines of policy and procedure.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The environment was a great place to work until the layoffs started. However management was very good about keeping an open door policy and talking to everyone about concerns all the time. The benefits were great working for Bank of America. I enjoyed my job very much.

    Cons

I feel some of the managers could have had better training. The division I worked in sometimes hired managers because they excelled at their current position and didn't give them any training to be a good manager.

    Advice to Management

The only advice to management I have I discussed in my cons section. Overall my history with Bank of America was great and I have very little complaints.
