Good Comp + Benefits. Work is Reasonable
Mar 21, 2023 - Software QA Engineer in New York, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Good comp + benefits - Work is challenging but not overly difficult or demanding most days
Cons
- Same as that of other large companies, which is bureaucracy and a lot of red tape - Once you get used to your role, the work can become a bit mundane

Market Leader doesn't play fair and doesn't care about work life balance

You get paid a fair wage. Benefits are vast
Cons
Pay doesn't reflect the amount of stress you're under or the amount of work you do. Bankers hours are a thing of the past as shifts are often 8am to 6pm. Work every Saturday unless it's during vacation or you're a favorite of the market leader. During federal holidays you aren't allowed any other day off during it's week and still work 5 days. Breaks you're required and recommended to take during training are stripped once training is over and you nonlonger report to training department. Each time the market leader changes it's like you've been hired at a new job.
