I have been working at Barber National Institute part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They are very lively, while maintaining a professional environment. All the customers seem to tip well and the owner makes sure everyone learns, enjoys the craft and continues education.

    Cons

I really don't have any cons, the place is awesome the people are awesome and there is a decent amount of walk in traffic that barbers are able to capitalize from.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

    Pros

Individuals you work with are amazing.
Lots of overtime for time and a half.
    Good Medical Benefits.

    Cons

Drama. Staff doesn't work as a team.
Unreasonable pay between part time and full time.
No incentives (bonuses or reasonable raise) especially for good staff who has been here for a while.
Difficult to move up in the company because they chose favoritism over experience.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and treat them better. Not with a card and dairy queens ice cream cake either! Some people are lactose intolerant.
