I have been working at Barnes & Noble full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of books and a decent cafe. Most people working there are pretty smart and over-qualified.

    Cons

Constant pressure to upsell, especially in the cafe. Threat of secret shoppers looms.

    Advice to Management

Kinda like The Office. If you mess up, such as come in late, six different bosses will come talk to you to make sure you understand the policy.
