Pros

Great company culture- Great atmosphere, everyone is so friendly and helpful. I really felt apart of the company and able to talk to or approach anyone with questions.

Cons

Not too many... Sometimes had to do some pretty tedious research - but i guess that's all to do with the position

    Pros

You can be young and extremely successful, the ceiling is the limit but to get there you cannot just sit around. I have worked at Barton for 8 months and have gotten a few promotions already and am on the fast track to extreme success within a few years of working at my first job after college. Barton only promotes from within, and has excellent HR department.

    Cons

Yes the turnover rate is high because people are fundamentally soft. If you want to be successful you have to get pushed, not only physically but mentally as well. Yes it is a sales job and a lot of things can go from bad to worse quickly, but it will make you a better, tougher person in the long run!

    Advice to Management

Great management, yes there was not enough people teaching in the past, but things change as do companies. With growth comes that change, in the past 6 months leadership has evolved and new people are becoming leaders everyday!

I have been working at Barton Associates full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Recession proof industry. Strong training program that is constantly being improved upon. Dramatic company growth, which will provide employees with great career opportunities as additional offices are planning on opening every year moving forward. Great work envionment, and place to work. You are pushed to succeed, because there is a lot of money to be made. The managment team for the most part is personally vested in their employees overall growth and success. Strong benefits programs. Culture and moral are a strong suit as well, as there are referral contests, and rewards for top performers on a monthly/yearly basis.

    Cons

The hours can be long (7-5), however there is an hour lunch 12-1 and there is training from 7-8 every morning. The training can be tedious at times, which is why there are constant improvements being made. Demanding work, it is not for everybody. Naturally there is turnover, but this is a sales job. 6 month "associate" run before earning commissions is too long.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in technology, and in your employees. Identify solid processes, and improve communication within, and between all office locations.
