I have been working at Bath & Body Works part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was a job (seasonal, actually); overall friendly staff and helpful except for a couple certain people; I did get 2 freebies, which was nice, I guess. Employee discount could be used at victoria's secret.

    Cons

Was not organized, bad communication, I couldn't get into the system so I had to call to check my hours every week, which was quite a hassle; I literally got hired as a seasonal employee around veteran's day and had 3 shifts between that time and christmas/new years, (1 supposed cash training shift, which was hardly any training, one black friday, and 1 other) and that's it! Technically I had a couple call in shifts, but for all of them, they said they didn't need me, so I couldn't come in for work. The manager said the reason for such low hours was because since they never hit their quotas, they didn't get to use all their seasonal employees. I found the employee discount more of a con because even though it was 30% off, it only applied to regular priced items and it does not combine with any other coupons or sales (like BOGO or 4 for/5 for or semi annual sale discounts) , so its only good if you want 1 regular priced item, but other than that, you're seriously better off as a regular customer

I worked at Bath & Body Works full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great team of associates
Fun atmosphere to work in. The holidays, though very hectic, had their moments of greatness.
    Gratis!
Smelled even better after leaving work, haha!

    Cons

The politics of the upper management eventually left a bad taste in my mouth.
    Long hours--especially with the floorsets.
Not given the appropriate tools to effectively complete tasks

    Advice to Management

don't stress! Remember at the end of the day, it's only lotion. :)
