Approves of CEO

I worked at Bath & Body Works part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Wonderful management and co-workers made this job thoroughly enjoyable. Your store really comes to feel like your second home. You feel motivated to work hard just because of the conducive work atmosphere. Discounts at the store, and affiliated stores are definitely a plus. Plus you always smell nice when you clock out. You never get too bored with the constant changes in products.

Cons

You might not get a lot of hours unless you have availability that really does not clash with anyone else. The on call system can be somewhat frustrating if you do not live close to the store, or have another job.

I have been working at Bath & Body Works full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    *Create friendships with associates
    *Products are good
*Loved management team as people, not as managers...

    Cons

*Do not plan on ever making it in this company unless your district manager loves you.
*Too much pressure to make unrealistic sales goals, unless you are scheduled during peak times.
*Conversion is ridiculous, you get so stressed about people coming in and out that it makes you crazy.
    * If you are a sales associate, be prepared to be treated like you are replaceable.
*Make sure you have no life and are will to go into work at the drop of a hat. If not, your hours will be taken away because management will get angry with you....
*If toy are management, be prepared to have no life. The company will require you to work on days off with no pay because of workload. But don't get caught trying to catch up. You can get fired!

    Advice to Management

Make sure your district managers are mature. Give your Co-managers the recognition they deserve. Treat sales leaders as members of management, because they are not just cheap labor, they usually end up doing more work than some managers.
