I worked at Bay State College full-time

Pros

Everyone is nice and welcoming in the beginning.

Cons

There is a severe lack of communication between departments, which makes a lot of people point fingers at each other. And once a perception is made about someone, it will never leave.

I worked at Bay State College full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers were great to work with - collaborative so everyone could hit their individual and team goals. If you demonstrate a strong work ethic and hit your goals regularly, you can advance quickly.

    Cons

High turnover. Work on weekends to meet with students and some late nights. More of a call center than an admissions department. Because meeting goals were top priority, we were often advised to recruit students who could not afford the school and application fee. Leadership was not willing to listen to the concerns of the admissions team.

    Advice to Management

If a department has high turnover, take their concerns to heart.

I have been working at Bay State College full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Location, Able to directly facilitate students success

    Cons

Some co-workers lack the ability to communicate, making other people's job much difficult.

    Advice to Management

Invest more into students and employees. They should also work on student's work study position abilities. They should be treated as an actual part-time employee rather than ignored as an employee.
