    I worked at Bayer full-time

    Pros

Large and and well respected company among the public and most customers. Excellent benefits and good compensation with fairly good work-life balance. Definitely a company that you can say you are proud to work for.

    Cons

Excessive internal regulation and red-tape at times. Senior and Executive management often exhibit very weak leadership and poor decision making abilities because they are far too concerned about their personal careers than matters surrounding the business. Career development is non-existent.

    Advice to Management

Work harder to cultivate the existing workforce to take leadership roles within the company for the sake of continuity, maintaining the fabric of the corporate culture, and signaling the value held in existing employees, rather than continuing to follow the pattern of hiring for leadership roles from outside.
