Most managers are poorly prepared for their responsibilities. Most organizations are top heavy making it difficult to progress in your career.

Advice to Management

Evaluate your Management/ Leadership training. Some managers require coaching on how to be professional and respectful of their employees.

    Limited autonomy. Micromanagement is a problem in most areas.

    Advice to Management

    Nurses work for nurses, not the docs... sometimes the nurse manager needs to say "no, we can't do that... it would be unsafe for the patients"
