Pros
Some good people to work with but a lot of them have one foot out the door. You’ll find enough people in the company to trauma bond with
Cons
They have no idea what they are doing. Everything is a great idea, and is almost never backed by strategy. There has not been a single product or initiative that has worked since the original Pay Advance, which has also reached it saturation irrespective of how much marketing they do.
They think the reason people leave or don’t cross probation is because it’s too difficult to find the right fit. The reality is that they want other teams to do jobs than main the product team is incapable of doing - finance must do product pricing, compliance must do product design, engineering must do product management.
The secret to success in this company is to be an egoistic leader with so called great ideas, or to be a “yes” person to said egoistic leader. If you are neither, you are either not valued or are fired.
