I worked at Bell Canada full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great work environment, with young progressive leaders. Allows for balanced work lifestyle.

Cons

The company Leverages contract workers for capital projects, which limits long term succession plans. Compensation levels do no allow for retention of leaders with transferable skills (who can jump to other industries).

Advice to Management

Need to focus on the customer experience as it relates to billing. The engineering groups provide the best network in Canada, and the processes to allow for continuous improvement. Billing and customer service side of the business have huge room for improvements.

    Situated in Nuns Island, it is a far commute from the north shore

    Security could be more enforced

    Pros

    Paid and benefits are reasonable.

    Cons

    scheduling is hectic. Mo weekends off even though I work here for 3 and half years.

    Advice to Management

    Make rotating shift for eveyone. Having to work every weekend for a year now, makes me losing my personal life with family and friends.
