    Pros

    Decent compensation (salary)
    Flexible work hours
Work from home allowed (frowned upon but allowed on occasion)

    Cons

    Weak benefits
    Outdated management
    Training lacking
    Professional development path lacking

    Advice to Management

Look at training requests for professional/career development from the employees as a sign of ambition, drive, and motivation to do better for the company rather than as an expense and detriment to the company. Do not promote company as providing work/life balance, which is a false view in some cases. Outdated managers stick to old habits and policies, and provide negative feedback for employees that are trying to implement innovation.
