    Pros

Incredible software the customers adore and is built to continue to scale for years to come; Highly talented and motivated colleagues; Invigorating and welcoming culture; Very strong business outlook for the long haul

    Cons

Growing pains from start-up to major global enterprise are natural and being well-managed, but can be uncomfortable for those not comfortable with change and continual optimization.

Good company/product but experiencing growing pains

    Pros

Brilliant founder and co-founder Intelligent, Enthusiastic employees Explosive revenue growth with high customer retention Good benefits – health insurance paid-for, health and wellness stipend, education stipend

    Cons

Bureaucracy – processes need to be updated to reflect the infrastructure that is being built. Projects and initiatives move slower than they should for an organization this size. Words over actions – it seems that in many instances people are more concerned with marketing themselves in the organization over actually creating value Levelling – there is a high degree of micromanagement as well as credit is often not attributed to the lower level person/people that actually deserves it First-Principles Thinking – I think this is lacking especially with newish hires at the director level and above. There is too much “well at my last company we did this, so this is what we should do at Benchling.”
