Former Employee - Technical Service Representative in Louisville, KY

Pros

Not a terrible place to work for a first job, beats fast food..

Cons

As a tech guy, being pushed out onto the sales floor and pushing service plans and other misc. stuff was not ideal.

Advice to Management

Good luck.

    Pros

I got my job after i needed a break from the corporate world while i decided what i wanted to do. The hiring process is painless but they cut hours at the drop of a hat so don't depend on it unless you are full time.

It's a good place to work.

    Cons

They chop hours randomly with no explanation.

    No communication at all.

    Advice to Management

    COMMUNICATE

    Pros

Heavy employee screening which means that the people you're working with are more likely to be outgoing, friendly, and perform their job requirements. There are many opportunities for growth that are built into individual reviews at least twice a year.

    Cons

Not as ideal as a part-time student position, specifically during the Christmas season where an employee might get strapped with more hours to work than they would prefer.

    Advice to Management

Maintain a clear chain of command from management to individual employees and ensure that employees are familiar with what is expected of them. Communication was fragmented at the store that I worked at during the Christmas season and managers ended up working directly at cross purposes.
