I worked at Best Buy part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work in the warehouse so you don't have to sell on the floor.

    Cons

Management doesn't care about employees or other things that aren't sales. Having to push protection plans and credit cards apps gets real old.

    Advice to Management

Trust your employees more and quit micro managing every little thing!

I worked at Best Buy as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

None, don't even bother to work for this company.

    Cons

It is the worst job I have ever had. Training wasn't thorough, and when I started "on the floor" because I worked from home, it was like being thrown to the wolves. Just a mess. The customers are miserable, when you get them in your cue, most of them tell you that the person who helped them previously hung up on them or they were "disconnected." Then when you get the issue, you understand the difficulty the previous agent had. You are frustrated and the customer is too, because it takes forever to get a supervisor to assist you.
