I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They know how to sell products. Great training. Unfortunately, they're great at duping customer's into buying things they don't need. That's how you become the biggest electronics retailer in the country.

    Cons

Because most stores promote from within and many managers have no solid business/leadership background, positions are more likely to go to a supervisor's best friend than a qualified employee.

    Advice to Management

When a store has a banner year, don't disassemble the management team and transfer them to stores that aren't performing as well.
