    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Best Buy part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible hours, mostly good managers and co-workers. Sense of community within stores. Opportunities to learn different business aspects, sales, customer service, merchandising, troubleshooting etc.

    Cons

Extreme expectations, such as part time employees being expected to have over $12,000 in sales a week. Low pay and tiny raises, for example, I worked there for three years, got great employee reviews and when I left I was only making $.88 more than when I started.

    Advice to Management

Look at the surveys and do something to change the results.

    Approves of CEO

I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent culture, dependent on the store. Company is now probably headed somewhat upright but they're not out of the rough yet.

    Cons

Out of touch management, constant changing of procedures, common-sense decisions being overruled by out of date policy. Old CEO was terrible, thank god he got canned.

    Advice to Management

Consider adding compensation again and get rid of the high school part-timers, they're what's giving Best Buy a bad rep.
