I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Relaxed atmosphere, decent pay and good benefits for full-timers

Cons

Managers have become sticklers for selling services and have been known to dismiss employees for forgetting to ask customers to purchase such things

I have been working at Best Buy full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of Room to move up, and plenty of opportunities to learn new skills about computers and other electronics and appliance commodities.

    Cons

Numbers culture is definitely a factor, while not focused on constantly, they are brought up enough to remind you that you are worth more to them if you have bigger numbers rather than have a good work ethic. (Reiterated many times through many coworkers.)

    Advice to Management

quit, hiding everything behind buzzwords, and act with more realism. The corporate culture isn't everything. Act like people from time to time.
