I have been working at Best Buy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent discount and plenty of options on getting products for yourself at a discounted rate. If you are an electronic junkie, then you would love the work. If you need to pay bills and live decent, not so sure.

    Cons

You work as if you are on Commission, and your clearly not. I didn't notice until my monthly ACR about how much I'm getting screwed over. Working part-time, I sold $3,000 of product in 4 hours, but I only made $32. 10% Commission would be better than the crappy hourly pay they give you.

    Advice to Management

Push the idea of Commission for your Sales Associates who sell Best Buy's huge product inventory. To dedicate the amount of time we do to making Best Buy billionaire profits, representing pay would be nice.

I have been working at Best Buy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good discount, good coworkers, helping customers is rewarding and helps time fly by.

    Cons

No breaks unless you work over 8 hours and even then - you may be asked to skip your break.

Work part timers 37-38 hours to avoid giving out health benefits.

Set unrealistic goals and tell you every time you work that you aren't at your goal and you need to do better.

Talked down to as if you are incompetent by certain managers - others are better.

    Advice to Management

Happy employees means happy customers. Employees should get breaks to stay sharp.
