I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Discount is top notch and the opportunities for growth are there if you are willing to put in the time. I had a good experience with coworkers.

    Cons

Management does not appreciate staff efforts and is not willing to address staff concerns. Compensation is not linked to sales which fails to motivate.

I have been working at Best Buy full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Decent pay and benefits, and definitely an ability to learn and grow.

    Cons

Upper management is not aligned on what to prioritize so mid-management directs corporate employees to chase hard after one thing, then shift gears and chase hard after another thing, then shift gears...

    Advice to Management

Get aligned at corporate so you are working smarter, not harder. Hold retail field leadership accountable for execution of plans in stores so vendors and corporate can count on at least a 90% successful execution rate.
