    Pros

great environment for creativity, smart people and collaborative

    Cons

collaborative to the point of execution. Not a lot of individuals willing to "stick their neck out". Then again, not many corporate environments allow "free thinking".

    Advice to Management

    award free thinking AND accountability

I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you work with a solid team consistently, or have GO'd a store together, that team will not only be like family but it will also perform exceptionally well. Decent upward mobility for hard workers.

    Cons

Not enough overall development of employees. Less pay, hours, and support than earlier in 2000's. Very poor work life balance, but this is common amongst all retailers. Managers take workers for granted too often without recognizing them despite several built-in methods of recognition. A lack of diversified training.
