I worked at Best Buy part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Employee Discount about the coolest part of this position. Blue Polo?

Cons

Pay, Managers, Sales approach, weekend work. You will be scheduled every weekend and rarely get a Saturday or Sunday off. The pay is terrible for the type of value you are expected to contribute to the company. Management cares more about hitting sales goals than taking care of the customer. You are transformed into an insurance salesman because overpriced protection plans are the only thing keeping this dieing company afloat.

I have been working at Best Buy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Fun place to work, given the right supervisors (I have seem good and bad ones come and go)
     - Scheduling if you are on the good side of said good managers....you will get the hours.

    Cons

    - If you are on the bad side of managers.....poor hours (I am seeing this right now with some people I work with)

    Advice to Management

Promote from within on your good employees, I see too many of them go from being mistreated.

I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Discount, Networking Capabilities, Open Door Policy

    Cons

Long Hours, Pay, Managment, Customers, Outdated Machines

    Advice to Management

Train your managers more, and actually listen to the lower level employees. They are the ones who are receiving constant feed back from consumers.
