I have been working at Best Buy part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Good discount, some friendly people.

Cons

Management doesn't seem to know what they're doing, awful pay, no hours when it's not the holidays. Expected to do 10 hours worth of work in 4.

Advice to Management

Give you employees a raise once in awhile. Don't hire all the OS for more than your regular part-timers.

I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun work, easy to learn, plenty of opportunity for promotion. Good for a first job.

    Cons

Can be tense especially when managers are too tightly wound. Too many abrupt changes. Weak pay, not good for someone trying to support a family unless you jump right into management.

    Advice to Management

Should be more welcoming to working Dads and Moms. Give them first shot at promotion.
