I have been working at Best Buy full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Discount and flexible schedule. Team oriented and the ability to bonus every month! My store was like family and we had each other's backs!

Cons

Huge company and potential to get lost in the shuffle. Upper level management doesn't care about the ppl that actually do the work! They make decisions and don't think about the reality of what will happen in the store on the front line!

Advice to Management

Get your mind right! Retail! Ahhhhh!

I worked at Best Buy part-time

    Pros

I enjoyed learning about new products, services and teaching tools to assist the customer. The employee discount and rewards. Great employees but at times understaffed or overworked. It's great to work the holidays, their are plenty of hours.

    Cons

I had to leave because there wasn't enough hours at a cashier. Our department had 6 six employees and we only worked 2-3 days a week. None of us ever wanted or applied to work less than 20 hours. After the holidays ends, it seems like they're not allowed to give out a lot of hours anymore. Its like the company sets a hold on hours to stay afloat during the semi to non-busy months.
