    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Best Buy full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Entry-Level sales and retail experience. Depending on the management of each store, can be beneficial as a stepping stone to better career paths.

    Cons

Limited ability to move up in the company. Limited personal growth depending on management. Retail job, so interacting with difficult customers at times. Low pay and generally part-time.

    Advice to Management

Stop cutting top-paid performers. While this is a short-term cash consideration, the long-term effects never benefit the customer or the company.

I have been working at Best Buy part-time for more than a year

    Pros

At my store the managers are relatively calm, it is only busy at certain times of day, and in customer service, the customers approach you.

    Cons

Inevitably, working in retail requires you to reach certain goals set by the store. These goals are not unachievable, however, it does take time and effort to perfect your "pitch" or method of attracting and convincing customers to buy what you are selling.
