Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Best Buy full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Decent discount, that's pretty much it. Paid training can be a pro if you have to drive. They reimburse you for the gas. You get pretty close to the people you work with which is great, until they start eliminating jobs left and right and they people you are left with are morons.

Cons

Managers are less knowledgeable than the associates in all areas 80% of the time.If you have a family forget about spending any real time with them. I worked at my store for several years and cant think of a time when they were sympathetic to anyone. (new baby, death in families, sick children) No matter what it is, they want to make sure there is coverage.

Advice to Management

Close the store.

    Pros

I love my coworkers and the discount.

    Cons

Management is very unstructured and uncaring. Needs more hours for employees. Even though I was told this was not a commission based job.. We were often forced to shove high end products down a customers throat even if they couldn't afford it.
