Pros

Worked with some of the greatest people I've ever met and established wonderful friendships. Open and transparent work environment that allows flexibility, understanding, and vulnerability. Fantastic culture that contributes to motivation required to work every day. Benefits, overall, are wonderful with purchase discount and paid time-off.

Cons

Becomes very cutthroat in order to get advancement, having to nearly provide an entire presentation on why you deserve pay compensation increases or promotions. Stretch assignments and pilot programs are not treated as true pilot programs, there was constant "introductions" to "new concepts" that required Frankenstein processes to be implemented in order to provide a "proof of concept" that never get improved because it "works fine as is." Fast paced as an overall pro, but constant needs to change gears due to indecisiveness of direction. You could be working towards a certain direction but the next day you may have to drop everything and go a different direction and change the entire strategy on-the-fly with no additional time to handle it. Lots of operational and systemic processes are not documented, a lot of it is ran by tribal knowledge in people's brains. Company likes to take care of employees when impacted by reorgs to try to retain their employment, but results in loss of promotional opportunities for existing employees.
