Pros
There are no pros to working at BVM
Cons
This company misleads its publishers and advertisers. The business model is to take unskilled or unemployed people, promise them the world, and then provide no practical support along the way. They pay their “employees” nothing to start a branch of the business and most magazines fail before they get off the ground, but BVM doesn’t care because they have nothing to lose. I would estimate maybe 5% of publishers ever see any kind of success, and even less see even close to the money and freedom they try to sell you. On top of this, your job is to prey on small businesses with “branding” that doesn’t lead to any sales. Talk to ANY company that has ever advertised with BVM, and they will all say the same thing: “we got absolutely nothing out of it.” On top of those, BVM is incredibly careful with their wording, and basically tell you that they know the advertisements do not work and they aren’t meant to, it is just “branding” and support of the community. Don’t believe the fake ads that they spend hours upon end adding everywhere.
