I worked at Big 5 full-time (More than a year)

Pros

you do make some freinds the workers as i see do not wear name tags some stores as in store 18 has too much added stuff a wheelchair can not get in

Cons

truck days things are stack up too high as in 2 story stores no workers up in the 2nd floor at all time things are not neat fishing gear and camping have been swipe

Advice to Management

skus are not right on small itams like knives show cases are too full stores must hire 2 full time workers i down stairs 1 up stairs have a worker with fishing and camping exp. 7 hours a day 5 days a week as someone who work at big 5 and got inured i had hours swipe from me after i got back from the doctor i am welling to work at big 5 but we need to cear up the dress code tee shirts with logo no ties pay needs to be 9.75 per hour

    Comfortable and friendly environment. Managers and employees have a good working relationship.

    Most of the communication made between management and employees go unnoticed. Low hours for part time employees. Low pay
