I have been working at Big 5 Sporting Goods part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Employee discount. Easy work. Doesn't require much effort or intelligence to work there.

    Cons

Lazy coworkers. Average less than 6 scheduled work hours a week. Minimum wage. Males must be clean shaven and have short hair. Required to where a shirt and tie when doing manual labor. It's hard to pay for nice work cloths when your making $50 a week.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring new people when you cant give your current employees enough hours. Please don't keep the lazy workers around, let them go.
