      Pros

My internship at BigID as an event marketing intern was an exceptional experience. The flexible working hours allowed me to maintain a healthy work-life balance while exploring various fields within marketing. I greatly appreciated the freedom given to shape the internship to align with my interests and goals. The access to LinkedIn Learning and the opportunity to network with professionals across the company were invaluable resources that enhanced my knowledge and expanded my professional connections. Overall, BigiD provided a highly rewarding and empowering internship experience.

      Cons

It is worth noting that this internship requires proactive initiative to reach out constantly for tasks and keep oneself busy in order to maximize its benefits. Nevertheless, the effort is highly rewarding as it helps you development of great relationships within the company! Additionally, the pay for this internship is comparatively lower than industry standards.

          Pros

Smart people, patents in the field.

          Cons

Company does not who it is - started as classification, then data privacy, then data governance, and now is cloud data security. GTM and strategy is constantly changing. All sales are done through resellers, taking anywhere from 5-20% cut per deal which comes out of the sales reps pocket. Several rounds of layoffs seemingly out of nowhere, after leadership says we are in a good cash position. Boys club with nepotism towards others who have worked with senior/sales leadership in the past. Product is extremely "heavy" and impossible to implement. Majority of customers are struggling to implemented or in production after 1-2 years of owning the product.

Do you experience that how long the hiring process would take at Thermo Fisher? I got my second interview with hiring manager at the beginning of November but I haven’t heard nothing from them. When I’ve emailed them to check in they just said that the process would be slow, no time frame. I would be able to get an offer soon from other company but work as contractor. Should I wait for Thermo Fisher?
