I have been working at BloomReach as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

Chill culture, no-drama policy, MWF catered lunches

Cons

Not a lot of very young people

Advice to Management

Give Macbooks to the new hires, not Aspires! (Aspires are somewhat slow)

I have been working at BloomReach full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1. Amazing colleagues. Bloomreach has a really high bar, and you will notice it the moment you walk in. They are smart, dedicated, and most importantly, humble and friendly.
    2. Ownership: Bloomreach works on big projects, but everything is owned by small teams. You will always have a lot of work to do and the autonomy to do it the way you see fit (provided you get a sign off from your peers).
    3. Good culture: good compensation, perks, and wonderful HR team make it a fun place to work.

    Cons

Career growth opportunities are not clearly defined.

    Advice to Management

In India, there should be more encouragement to become an overall engineering-focused organization. This involves more than just delivering on our work. Bloomreach should encourage research, 20% projects, and developer outreach.

  2. "Brilliant company, amazing colleagues and a bright future"

I worked at BloomReach full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Bloomreach has been a fascinating place to work - not only because of the quality of its people from a raw horsepower perspective, but also from the amount of trust and opportunity people around you offer if you are willing to own and drive in your line of work.

Products are phenomenal, people are fun, reliable and humble - and incredibly driven.

    Cons

The company is going global, which by definition has impacted culture. Like any transition period, this can sometime lead to certain tensions - in my experience however it has only made the company stronger, more resilient and at the end of the day more interesting.

    Advice to Management

Keep trusting and delegate power to people who demonstrate a willingness to drive and take initiative.
