Pros

Excellent benefits. Great flexible hours. Plenty of OT at time and a half

Cons

Poor management leadership. Favortism from site director down to supervisors. So called quality programs are not beneficial. Racial issues abound in all departments.

Advice to Management

Learn to be professional and not one sided when issues arise. If you are senior management you cannot show favortism to your employees. Get a handle or the racist supervisors before a lawsuit happens. Stop RIFFing people and then having a month long hiring spree

    Pros

benefits, stable, pension, easy to get by

    Cons

Promotions and recognition are given to people who are unskilled and incompetent but are liked by their management. If you go along with everything and don't like to use your mind you can succeed here.

    Leadership is incompetent.

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes. There's a world outside of HCSC in case you havent figured it out.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

I am home for dinner almost every night unless in the middle of a production outage. and the health coverage and company funded pension programs are amazing to say the least. We check more compliance boxes every day than most companies do all year.

    Cons

There is virtually no opportunity for advancement, training has been cut to nothing, people are afraid to speak up when something doesn't make sense for fear of retaliation and retribution. The company is hemorrhaging money on poorly engineered, badly implemented redundant solutions. This company fancies itself as tech-centric, yet there is nothing even remotely resembling a computer emergency response team.

    Advice to Management

Senior leadership is completely disconnected from the staff. The reduction in force last August did not even remotely take into account whether or not someone was needed or doing a good job. Next time you want to make cuts take a hard look at who is working and who is sitting in their cube reading a book or surfing the web, better yet, talk to supervisors and managers and get their input.
